Ava's first official haircut

Over the past couple years, anyone that knows Ava knows she has not been blessed in the hair department! At her first birthday, she was still pretty much a baldie. Last summer, she got just enough for a couple short pigtails. And now, it is finally growing out a bit. Mom has given her a couple tiny "trims" since then, but it was time for her first big-girl haircut!

We took her to Cookie Cutters, a haircut place for kids. Autumn, her hairstylist that day, got Ava settled in the pink car, and let her pick out her cape - Ava chose the one with the fish on it. She wasn't too sure about the whole process (as you can tell in the picture!) but it turned out adorable!

The finished product!

I wish they had places like that around here. Carter absolutely hates getting his hair cut and it grows so fast that we have to get it done all the time. If he could sit in one of those seats he would be fine. He gets it cut at least once a month. If we don't he gets major bed head in the morning.LOL She looks beautiful with her new cut.
